Brand Community App
I managed the product strategy and development of Sagelink’s Brand Community iOS / web app. The product made it easy for brands to invite customers to exclusive communities where they could engage with the brand, share product feedback, share with each other, build relationships with other fans, and earn gifts and loyalty status. At the core, the philosophy was built around the burgeoning movement for community-led growth and authentic brand identities. We designed an app that brought these components together to create a new paradigm for brand / customer relationships.
In less than 3 months, the product went from idea to launched with 5 brands. We built a community of brands who valued community led growth as a strategy and provided expertise and guidance on best strategies for community growth.
We pivoted towards a creator/ambassador focused version of the offering after learning that our target customers could not invest the time they wished towards community building. With a different market position, I believe these strategies can be incredibly meaningful.
