Co-Founder and CEO @ Sagelink Technologies
Mar 2020 - Sep 2022

At Sagelink, our goal was to make data-driven decision making easy for all people at companies, regardless of technical skill. To that end, we built innumerable prototypes and launched 3 full software products across e-commerce marketing, data analytics tooling, and internal data tools for non-technical users.

As co-founder and CEO, I managed investor relationships, led hiring and culture creation, and acted as lead engineer and head of product. We dove deeply into new markets, rapidly iterated solutions with design partners, and built a fast-paced culture of learning.

Investor & Scout @ OMERS Ventures
Jun 2019 - Jun 2020

I joined OMERS during the summer of my MBA as a means of seeing the VC/Entrepreneur relationship from the other side and stayed on the team throughout my second year. I acted as a technical advisor for cutting edge tech opportunities and managed due diligence across such opportunities. Although I had no prior experience in the real estate market, I developed investment theses on the PropTech and Construction markets which led to real deals!

Software Development Engineer II @ Amazon - Core ML
Sep 2017 - Sep 2018

After Body Labs was acquired by Amazon, I managed a significant portion of porting our existing AI/ML technology into the Amazon environment. I served as team lead and effective PM on projects interfacing between the Body Labs tech and partner product teams. I managed the roadmaps and guiding principles for teams consisting of Research Scientists, SDEs, and Designers all with a focus on bringing Computer Vision into Amazon products. I also worked on developing Virtual Try-on applications with the Amazon Fashion team.

Product Manager & Eng Lead @ Body Labs (acquired by Amazon)
Nov 2015 - Sept 2017

I joined Body Labs when the team was about 10 people, initially building out the layer of products and services on top of the core ML tech. In practice, this involved Business Development, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product Management, and Software Engineering. As I built out that team, we were the drivers of revenue for the organization, always listening to customer needs and building with intent.

I moved into Lead Engineering and Product Management on an AR application called Mosh while maintaining my position as advisor and strategist for Business Development needs. Through this role, I continued to work on AR/VR applications, integrating with fashion design tech, running population analyses for more inclusive sizing, and driving forward our on-device ML inference for motion tracking & 3D model generation.

Solutions Architect & Senior Technical Analyst @ Medallia
May 2014 - Nov 2015

My role at Medallia involved building complex analytics and engineering implementations for some of the most strategic clients. I managed teams of analysts on project requirements and deliverables for projects worth over $3MM ARR. As a Solutions Architect, I hosted office hours, guided technical design, and provided feedback to product & engineering on customer needs. In my free time, I led multiple onboarding courses for new hires, taught the professional services teams best practices on javascript, and became an internal educator for the team.

Founder @ togathr
Aug 2013 - May 2014

As a new grad, I spent a few months building a geo-based social app. The core function allowed users to share information on what’s going on near them, find areas of activity now or over time with ML-based algorithms, and merge the virtual/analog social experience. Think: the Snapchat maps feature which came out a few years later. I built the full stack mobile app, designed the experience, and brought the product through beta testing. Eventually, I decided to not launch as I became wary of bad actor behavior in a geo-focused app like this.
